About Us
Peace Lutheran Church is a thriving faith community worshipping nearly 120 people each Sunday in person, and many more on our livestream platform. We love that over 60 young people attend Sunday School, and 40 of them are active in our Wednesday Programming. Sunday worship is liturgical but fresh and engaging, trying to embrace our heritage and yet explore the new. The Vision of Peace is to Share God’s love in the world: Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day! Of the many ways we live this out is to support our congregation, make disciples, and be active in our community. A sample of our ministry activity includes, supporting our local food shelf, VBS, diaper drive for refugees, coats for kids, the angel tree, helping the unhoused, God’s Work Our Hands, and many projects with other social service partners. Peace has a relationship with our sister Lutheran church in Tanzania providing school uniforms and tuition assistance to orphan children. Peace is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) and strives to be a relevant faith community locally, nationally, and globally, following in the way of Jesus, where all are welcome, and all belong.
